Transformers clip analysis
The transformers clip starts by showing the distributed which is Paramount. This is a popular film studio which shows that is film is of high quality. The non diegetic sound effects give the film a sci fi and spy type feel which i think is very effective. A voice over is then able to be heard and this acts as a narrator to the film which helps inform the audience by also makes the film seem quite serious and a good action film for older people as well as younger. A dolly shot is used to show the audience the place that the film is set and makes them aware of the scenario. The voice over used here is a very deep and strong voice which i think makes the audience more interested in what is being said.
The opening scene is quite dark and dull which shows this film is serious and could involve some action. The non diegetic music is quite a slow and triumphant tone which shows the mystery of the film, it also helps build tension and keeps the audience interested. As the titles begin to show on the screen in a type font we see that this film is filmed in the “present day”. The font used and the way it is presented make the film seem like a document and help it feel more realistic.
